GLIAC -- The kick off of conference play for six of seven GLIAC teams highlights Week 5 of the 2023 football season.

Ferris State (3-0), ranked No. 1 in Division II, is the lone GLIAC team facing a nonconference foe this weekend, as the Bulldogs travel to Ohio to meet Findlay (1-3).

The Battle of the Valleys in Allendale will feature two ranked and undefeated teams, as No. 2 Grand Valley State (4-0) welcomes No. 17 Saginaw Valley State (4-0) to Lubbers Stadium for a night game showdown.

The league's other unbeaten team, Davenport (3-0), is set to host Michigan Tech (1-3) in the GLIAC opener for both squads.

Wayne State (1-3) will celebrate its Homecoming with a matchup against Northern Michigan (2-2) under the lights of Tom Adams Field.
