GLIAC -- Week seven of the 2022 GLIAC Football season promises to be one for the ages, as it includes a rare matchup of the nation's top two teams squaring off in a regular season conference contest.

The Anchor-Bone Classic will feature defending national champion and top-ranked Ferris State (5-0, 1-0 GLIAC) hosting archrival No. 2 Grand Valley State (6-0, 1-0 GLIAC) at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids with first place in the conference standings and the No. 1 spot in the national rankings on the line.

In other action, Saginaw Valley State (4-2) faces its third-straight top 10 nationally-ranked opponent, entertaining No. 8 UIndy (5-0) in a nonconference clash at Wickes Memorial Stadium.

Also, undefeated Davenport (5-0, 2-0 GLIAC) meets GLIAC foe Wayne State (1-5, 0-2 GLIAC) at home and Michigan Tech (2-4, 1-1 GLIAC) welcomes Northern Michigan (3-3, 1-1 GLIAC) to Kearly Stadium for the 2022 Miner's Cup showdown.
