Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division II, these 16 student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America. Michigan Tech senior guard Ben Stelzer was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II All-America Team.

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) today announced rosters for the 2015 Reese’s Division II College All-Star game, which will be played as part of the 2015 NCAA® Division II Men’s Elite Eight®. Reese’s brand is the official candy partner of the NCAA. Ferris State senior guard Drew Lehman was selected to be part of the All-Star contest on the West squad.

    EDINBORO, Pa. – Garret Kerr of The University of the Sciences has been named the Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioners Association Division II Men’s Basketball Ron Lenz National Player of the Year. Kerr becomes a three-time Daktronics All-American, repeating as a first team member after earning second team honors in 2013. Voting is conducted by the NCAA Division II Sports Information Directors from institutions and conference offices.

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The 2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Midwest Regional begins on Saturday, March 14 inside Knights Hall on the campus of Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. No. 6-seeded Michigan Tech will take on No. 3 Indianapolis in the Noon opener on Saturday, while No. 4 Lake Superior State and No. 5 Ferris State will face-off in the final game of the day at 8:30 p.m. in a rematch of Sunday's GLIAC Tournament title game won by the Bulldogs.     Bay City, Mich.--The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2014-15 Winter All-Academic & All-Academic Excellence Teams. Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0.
