Ashland No. 17, LSSU No. 19 in NABC Men's Hoops Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) men's basketball teams remained inside the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Top 25 Rankings unveiled on Wednesday, January 12th.

Ashland jumped four spots to No. 17 after an 81-75 overtime victory over Northern Michigan before upending Michigan Tech by a 73-67 final score. The Eagles are now 12-2 overall on the year and 6-2 in the GLIAC heading into matchups with Walsh and Malone this week. 

Lake Superior State had its unbeaten conference streak snapped by Ohio Dominican who downed the Lakers (87-75) last Thursday before LSSU rebounded at Tiffin for a 76-63 victory. Lake State moved to 12-2 overall on the year and 7-1 in conference play prior to a tilt with Saginaw Valley State on Thursday (Jan. 14) and Northwood on Saturday (Jan. 16).
