NABC Men's Poll: Ashland 22nd, Lake State 25th
Two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) men's basketball teams are positioned inside the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Top 25 Rankings. Ashland is 8-1 on the year after a 74-53 victory over Hillsdale before falling at the buzzer to Saginaw Valley (68-66) to end the week. The Eagles will finish out the calendar year with a contest against Shawnee State this Sunday (Dec. 20). Lake Superior State is currently 7-1 on the season, including 4-0 in league play. The Lakers are winners of five straight after earning road victories at Malone (90-75) and Walsh (67-46) last weekend.

 

Ferris State is the second team sitting outside the Top 25 in the others receiving votes category.
