NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS -- Four Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) men's basketball teams appeared in the second 2016 NCAA Division II Midwest Region Rankings released on Wednesday (Feb. 24).
The Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals moved up one spot to No. 2 in the region to lead the conference, while Ashland sits one spot behind in the No. 4 hole. Ferris State holds down the No. 6 position once again with Findlay obtaining the No. 8 ranking.
The Midwest Region includes schools from the GLIAC, the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). The GLVC holds four regional ranking positions with the G-MAC earning one spot.
The 2016 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament Selection Show will take place on Sunday, March 6th at 10:30 PM on NCAA.com. The Top 8 in each region will qualify for the postseason championships.
