Hudson-Emory, Noble and Johnson are CCA all-region picks in men's basketball

FINDLAY, Ohio – Davenport's Dyllon Hudson-Emory was named to the 2019 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association Men's Basketball All-Midwest Region First Team, while Ashland's Drew Noble and Northern Michigan's Isaiah Johnson received second-team accolades.

Hudson-Emory, a 6-7 forward from Harrisburg, Pa., becomes the first player in Davenport history to earn D2CCA All-Region recognition. Hudson-Emory finished his one and only season at Davenport with 564 points (18.2 per game), 192 rebounds, 50 assists, 23 blocks and 32 steals. His 211 made field goals this season is the fifth most by an individual in DU history and was the most out of any player in the entire Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Hudson-Emory will move on to the national ballot, where voting will last from March 21-24.

Noble (Louisville, Ohio) currently ranks sixth in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in scoring at 17.1 points per game as he has helped the Eagles reach the NCAA Tournament for just the second time since 1991. Noble also averages 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 50.4 percent (181-for-359) from the floor.

The Eagles (23-6), seeded No. 5 the Midwest Region, begin the 12th NCAA Tournament in program history on Saturday (March 16) night at 8:30 p.m. ET against Southern Indiana in Romeoville, Ill.

Johnson (Whitefish Bay, Wis.), a senior guard, led the GLIAC in scoring, averaging 20.6 points this season. He finished the year shooting 45.6 percent from the field and shot 39.4 percent from behind the three-point line. Johnson also led the league in free throws, averaging 5.3 makes per game.
