GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced that Purdue Northwest senior guard Mikell Cooper has been recognized as GLIAC Player of the Week following week four of the 2022-23 men's basketball season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mikell Cooper, Purdue Northwest
Purdue Northwest senior guard Mikell Cooper helped lead Purdue Northwest to a 1-1 start in conference play. He finished the week averaging 28.0 points per game and averaged 5.5 rebounds per game. In a 73-68 win against Michigan Tech on Saturday afternoon, Cooper led the Pride scoring a game-high 30 points and snatched six rebounds.
