WSU's Cornwell is named Men's Golf Player of the Week

GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its Men's Golf Player of the Week award for spring events through April 17, 2019. Wayne State's George Cornwell earned this week's honors.

MEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: George Cornwell - Wayne State

Redshirt senior George Cornwell (Fair Haven, Mich.) shot a 72 to finish third and pace WSU to a third-place team finish at the A.C. Eddy Invitational Saturday at Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind.  His round included a hole-in-one.
