Kansas City, Kan. -- Simon Fraser (B.C.) University has taken over the No. 1 ranking in the men's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) top 25 poll. Saginaw Valley State University, the lone representative of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), is appearing in the Division II top 25 at No. 22 for the first time in the programs history.
The Midwest Region Poll has three GLIAC schools ranked in the top 10. Saginaw Valley State is ranked No. 3, Ohio Dominican No. 5, and Northwood University No. 10. The top four teams from the Midwest Region advance to the NCAA Tournament.
