GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards following the eighth week of the 2019 men's soccer season. Davenport senior forward Brayden Texer earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades, while Ashland freshman goalkeeper Brett Robinson claimed GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Brayden Texer - Davenport
Texer came into this week without a goal but made up for it with three goals in two wins over. Purdue Northwest and Upper Iowa. He scored a goal and had an assist in 4-0 win over PNW and followed that with two goals in a 5-0 win over the Peacocks on Sunday.
