The Lakers, who amassed a GLIAC meet record total of 1,098 points, took home its fourth men's title and first since 2010, while the Warriors claimed their sixth-consecutive league championship including nine in the last ten years dating back to 2006.

GLIAC Winter All-Academic & All-Academic Excellence Teams AnnouncedMay 29, 2014Bay City, Mich.--The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2013-14 Winter All-Academic & All-Academic Excellence Teams. Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, not a freshman or a first year transfer student. All-Academic Teams are comprised of those student-athletes that meet criteria and carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0-3.49. Academic Excellence Teams are comprised of student athletes that have a cumulative GPA of 3.50-4.0.

Wayne State Men's Swimming and Diving Wins Another GLIAC TitleFebruary 15, 2014Geneva, Ohio -- The Wayne State University men's swimming and diving squad became the first team in the 35-year history of the GLIAC Championship meet to break the 1,000-point plateau eclipsing the all-time mark of 952 points set 27 years ago (1987) by Oakland University. The first-place finish marks the fourth consecutive league title and ninth in the last 12 years for the Warrior men.
