GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its sixth men's tennis weekly awards for the 2018 campaign. Northwood sophomore Kobus Sauerman has been named GLIAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week following a successful spring break trip.
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Kobus Sauerman, Northwood
Northwood sophomore Kobus Sauerman went 8-1 last week for the Timberwolves in five team matches, going 4-0 at No. 2 singles and 4-1 at No. 1 doubles. All four of his singles wins came in straight sets. Northwood stands with a 7-1 record on the year.
