GLIAC -- Ashland junior Priyank Soni is the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Week 9 Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week. It is his second weekly honor.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Priyank Soni - Ashland

Junior Priyank Soni (Mumbai, India) finished 4-0 at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles last week, including a hard-fought come-from-behind singles victory over his Lake Superior State opponent. In singles, he won 6-1, 6-2 at Michigan Tech and 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 at LSSU. Priyank and Stanislaw Grzeslo won their doubles matches at MTU and LSSU, 6-0 and 6-2, respectively.
