Warriors headline four men's tennis team advancing to NCAA regional

INDIANAPOLIS - The Wayne State men's tennis team will host the first round of the NCAA Men's Tennis Regional Tournament, which begins Saturday at campus sites.

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion Warriors (20-3) are the No. 2 seed and will play host to No. 7 Grand Valley State (16-8) at 11:30 a.m. No. 3 Drury and No. 6 Northwood (13-9) will also play in Detroit.

The University of Indianapolis will host the other side of the bracket and play No. 8 Missouri-St. Louis at 11 a.m. No. 4 Ferris State (10-10) and No. 5 Lewis will also play in Indianapolis.

First-round winners will meet Sunday.
