NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Men's Indoor Track & Field Top 25 poll remained the same from No. 1 through No. 6. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) currently has four teams ranked in the poll.
- Ashland University remained No. 3
- The University of Findlay dropped two places to No. 9
- Grand Valley State University dropped one place to No. 12
- Lake Superior State University jumped 10 places into the poll from receiving votes to No. 22
The GLIAC as a whole was ranked as the strongest conference earning 395.08 points edging out the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) which earned 390.46 points.
The next ranking will be released February 28.
The 2012 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held in Mankato, Minn., on March 9-10.
