BAY CITY, Mich. - Michigan Technological University sophomore forward Kylie Moxley (Brillion, Wis.) and Ashland University junior forward Taylor Woods (Wadsworth,Ohio/Wadsworth) have been chosen as the GLIAC Women's Basketball North and South Division "Players of the Week", respectively.
GLIAC North Division Player of the Week:

Sophomore forward Kylie Moxley led
Michigan Technological University to a 1-1 record at the Radisson
Roseville Classic over the weekend. She scored the game-winning
layup with less than five seconds on the clock in an 83-81 win over
No. 9 Concordia-St. Paul on Friday and shot 6-for-6 from the field
in loss to MSU-Moorhead on Saturday. Moxley scored 20 points on
Friday and 15 on Saturday while shooting 83.3 percent from the
field. Moxley currently ranks second in the GLIAC in field goal
percentage (83.3) and fourth in points per game (17.5).

Ashland University junior guard
Taylor Woods averaged 26.5 points per game while and shooting 44.4
percent from three-point range as the Eagles split their first two
games of the season. She established a school, single-game record
for three-point field goals (9) in an 85-76 loss to Indianapolis.
Woods broke a record that had stood since 1999. In that game with
Indianapolis, Woods scored a career-high 29 points. For the week,
Woods shot 81.8 percent from free throw line and 41 percent from
the floor.
