GLIAC -- The field for the 2018 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship has been revealed and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) will send three programs to the Midwest Regional in Ashland, which begins this Friday, March 9th.

Ashland is the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region and will host the eight-team field. The Eagles are the lone unbeaten team in the country, winners of 68 consecutive contests and picked up their third consecutive GLIAC Tournament title on Sunday (March 4) to move to 31-0 on the year. The Eagles will face-off against former GLIAC foe Hillsdale, the No. 8 seed, at 5 PM on Friday (March 9). Hillsdale picked up an automatic berth after capturing the G-MAC Tournament title.

Michigan Tech earned the No. 4 seed while Grand Valley State sits in the No. 5 position. The Huskies and Lakers will face-off in quarterfinal action at 7:30 PM for the right to face the Ashland-Hillsdale winner in the region semifinals.
