Eagles move up two more spots in WBCA Poll, Lakers remain 15th

LILBURN, GEO. - The 18-1 Ashland women's basketball team moved up from fifth to third in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll, which was announced Tuesday.

The Eagles have won 11 straight, including last week's 84-65 victory at Wayne State. They play host to Davenport and Grand Valley State this week.

GVSU (17-2), which beat Davenport, 82-53, last week, travels to Wayne State prior to Saturday's game at Ashland.

On Dec. 6 in Allendale, the Lakers defeated the Eagles, 94-61.
