GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced weekly awards following the third week of the 2019-20 season. Ferris State senior guard Riley Blair was named GLIAC Women's Basketball North Division Player of the Week, while Davenport sophomore guard Toni Grace captured South Division honors.

NORTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Riley Blair - Ferris State

Ferris State University senior forward Riley Blair had a big week for the Bulldogs as they won a pair of regional contests at FSU's Jim Wink Arena. Blair averaged 22 points and five rebounds while shooting 51.6% from the floor in the two victories over Ursuline and Southern Indiana. She totaled 17 points with four rebounds along with an assist and a steal in Thursday's 93-66 win over the Arrows before coming back with a game-high 27 points, six boards, an assist and a block in Saturday's 86-75 triumph over USI, which had beat the nation's 11th-ranked team in its season opener. Blair also went 12-of-18 (66.7%) at the line in the two games.

SOUTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Toni Grace - Davenport

Toni Grace led the scoring charge for a Davenport team that went 3-0 last week. The Panthers put up 91 points in a win over Grace Christian and then beat Findlay and Hillsdale later in the week. Grace averaged 23.7 points per game over the three games and recorded career highs against Findlay and Hillsdale. She scored 24 points against Findlay, going 4/10 from three and a perfect 6/6 from the free-throw line, breaking her previous high of 21 points earlier in the season. Two days later, she dropped 30 points in a win over Hillsdale and shot 6/9 from deep and a perfect 8/8 from the charity stripe. Over the three games, Grace went 13/25 from three and 14/14 from the free-throw line. She has scored in double figures in five consecutive games, with three of those scoring 20+ points.
