FSU's Idoni named GLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced that Ferris State senior forward Chloe Idoni has been recognized as GLIAC Player of the Week following the opening weekend of the 2022-23 women's basketball season. 


PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Chloe Idoni, Ferris State

Ferris State University senior forward Chloe Idoni had a big weekend to start the 2022-23 campaign as she led the Bulldogs to back-to-back regional road wins. Idoni averaged 26 points and eight rebounds per game while shooting 67.9% from the floor as FSU topped Ohio Dominican and Cedarville. On Friday, she tallied a game-high 30 points with 11 rebounds, four steals and four blocks in a double-double performance as FSU topped ODU in Columbus. She then came back with a game-high 22 points and five boards in Saturday's 10-point triumph at Cedarville. For the weekend, she went 19-of-28 (67.9%) from the floor and a perfect 14-of-14 (100%) at the free throw line while totaling 52 points, 16 rebounds, four steals, four blocks and two assists for the 2-0 Bulldogs.
