Ferris State Leads Grand Valley State By Three Strokes Heading Into the Final Round of the 2013 GLIAC Women's Golf Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Ferris State University holds a three-stroke lead over Grand Valley State University after two rounds of the 2013 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Golf Championship being held at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.

The Bulldogs have posted rounds of 321 and 305 for a 626 (+50) total.  FSU has a slim three-stroke lead over GVSU, which posted scores of 312 & 317 (+53) for a 629 total.  Ashland University currently sits in third place after carding rounds of 319 and 318 for a 637 total, 11 strokes behind the Bulldogs.

In the race for individual medalist honors, GVSU's Kelly Hartigan is the 36-hole leader after posting rounds of 75 and 73 for a+4 total of 148.  Hartigan holds a five-stoke lead over FSU's Jacqueline DeBoer who sits at +9 (77-76, 153) and a six-stroke lead over Ashland's Ali Green who's +10 socre of 154 (77-77) has her in thrid place.

The final round of the 2013 GLIAC Women's Golf Champhionship will get underway at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
