BAY CITY, Mich. -- Ashland senior golfer Ali Green has been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Golf Athlete of the Week after she earned medalist honors at the Ashland Invitational.

Highlights: Green earned medalist honors at the Ashland University Invitational over the weekend, firing matching rounds of 73 to finish with a two-over-par 146. Green's rounds of 73 are her best so far in 2015. In addition to her first-place finish, Green was fourth at the Eagle Invitational to begin the fall season, and tied for ninth at Grand Valley State's Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite. Green's average score through six rounds in 2015 is 76.
