WGCA Announces Top-25 Team GPA's

CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team GPA Award was announced Monday which recognized the top Women's Golf Institution with the highest collective average team GPA, and was awarded the University of New Mexico.

The WGCA also announced the top-25 teams with the highest team GPA for Division II, which featured two GLIAC Women's Golf programs. Leading Division II was Davenport, as the team's eight members averaged a 3.918, while Wayne State posted a GPA of 3.816, ranking them fourth among Division II golf programs.

About the Women's Golf Coaches Association

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition.
