OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Maddy Champagne, Grand Valley State

For the second consecutive week, junior attacker Maddy Champagne was named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week. The Lakers only played one game last week, a 19-5 victory over Concordia-St. Paul, and Champagne played a key role in the win. She scored four goals and had two assists, while also adding six draw controls. This season, Champagne has leads the team with 33 goals, 13 assists, and is second with 63 draw controls. Her 33 goals rank third in the GLIAC, and her 13 assists lead the conference. This is the third time this season, Champagne has won the Offensive Player of the Week honor and the sixth time throughout her Laker career.
