KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Three Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s and women’s soccer teams combined appeared in the 2014 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) regular season poll released on October 21.
Grand Valley State women’s soccer team ranks 10th with an overall record of 12-2-0. The Lakers were handed their first loss at the hands of Ohio Dominican, snapping a 30 consecutive conference match winning streak.
Saginaw Valley women’s team dropped to No. 21 after going 0-1-1 this past weekend.
After being dealt their first loss of the season by Lake Erie College, Saginaw Valley State’s men’s soccer team dropped from No. 2 to No. 20. The Cardinals are now 11-1-2 overall with a conference mark of 8-1-2.
