Northwood's Payvch Named GLIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its third women's tennis weekly awards for the 2018 season. Northwood senior Tetyana Pavych claimed GLIAC Player of the Week honors after an impressive weekend.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tetyana Pavych - Northwood

Northwood senior Tetyana Pavych went a combined 4-0 this weekend at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles vs. Lake Superior State and Michigan Tech. Pavych is undefeated in singles and doubles having not dropped a set in singles. She also defeated the reigning GLIAC Player of the Year AlexiAnn Drouin of LSSU in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) on Friday. Timberwolves remain undefeated (4-0) in the GLIAC.
