Official AVCA All-Region Release
AVCA -- A total of seven Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) volleyball student-athletes have been selected to the 2018 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II All-Midwest Region Team. Grand Valley State's Staci Brower, Ferris State's Allyson Cappel and Katie O'Connell, Michigan Tech's Olivia Ghormley and Laura DeMarchi were all selected to the All-Region Team, while Ferris State's Maeve Grimes was named to the Honorable Mention list. In of the year voting, Ashland setter Zoey Peck was named AVCA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year.

The AVCA, with its headquarters in Lexington, Ky., is managed by Associations International.
