2023 GLIAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll

GLIAC -- Defending conference champion Saginaw Valley State has been tabbed as the 2023 favorite in the GLIAC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll, as voted by the league coaches.

Saginaw Valley State garnered 25 total points and five first-place votes. The Cardinals, led by reigning GLIAC Coach of the Year Louis Barrow, went undefeated a year ago, posting a 12-0-4 overall record, including a 9-0-3 mark in league play. They won both the GLIAC regular season title and the GLIAC tournament title.

Parkside finished second in the preseason rankings, receiving 21 points and one first-place vote. In 2022, the Rangers got hot in the postseason, advancing to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

Davenport was voted third, totaling 17 points. Last season, the Panthers advanced to the GLIAC Tournament championship.

Purdue Northwest (5th, 11 points), Northern Michigan (5th, 9 points) and St. Cloud State (6th, 7 points) round out the 2023 GLIAC Preseason Poll.
