In game two, Wayne State pounded out 11 hits and limited FSU to only three in bouncing back for the split. The Warriors scored five times in the second and three more times in the third before adding a single run in the fourth and coming away with the five-inning triumph.

The Bulldogs' three hits came from outfielders Ella McDonald along with Maddie Gkekas and Keelin Wheaton. Joseph also drew three walks and designated player Emily Killion produced the only run with an RBI. McDonald doubled in the setback.

Ferris State utilized three different pitchers as Ashley Webb earned the start followed by Rylie Haist and Sophie Wisniski. Together, they walked four and struck out one in the game.
