Ferris State Men's Tennis Advances To GLIAC Tourney Championship Match

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis squad advanced to the 2024 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championship match with a dominating semifinal win on Saturday (April 27) at the Midland Tennis Center in Midland, Mich.

The top-seeded Bulldogs beat fifth-seeded Purdue Northwest 4-0 to reach the championship match.

With the win, Ferris State will square off against second-seeded Wayne State in the title match on Sunday (April 28) starting at 1:30 p.m. (ET) in Midland.

The Bulldogs captured the GLIAC's regular-season championship in men's tennis this year and are currently ranked among the top teams in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Rankings. FSU's men's team has captured five tournament titles since 2012, including most recently in 2021. Ferris State has won four of the last seven men's league postseason tournament championships overall.
