Ferris State Pulls Out Close Road Win At Findlay To Remain Unbeaten This Year

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's basketball squad recorded an 80-77 regional road win on Saturday (Nov. 18) against longtime power Findlay inside Croy Gymnasium in Findlay, Ohio.

The Bulldogs stayed unbeaten this season at 4-0 overall with the road victory. FSU built a seven-point halftime lead and held on in the second half of play for the win.

Four Bulldog standouts reached double-figure scoring with senior guard Ben Davidson notching a team-best 17 points. Senior Dolapo Olayinka added 13 points with DeSean Munson totaling 12 points and Amari Lee garnering 11 points.

Ferris State shot 55.2% for the game from the field, but made only five-of-18 (27.8%) three's to go with 11-of-13 (84.6%) free throws.

Meanwhile, the Oilers made 49.1% of their field goals and finished 13-of-24 (54.2%) from long range along with 10-of-13 (76.9%) at the charity stripe.

FSU finished with only nine turnovers and the Bulldogs held a 31-24 rebounding margin in the triumph.

Nathan Bruns led Findlay with 17 points and Jagger Landers totaled 13 points but those were the lone two UF players to reach double-digits in the setback.

The Bulldogs are back at home on Wednesday (Nov. 22) evening, hosting McKendree in regional action at Jim Wink Arena with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m. (ET).
