Bulldogs Drop League Road Contest At Saginaw Valley State

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team fell to Saginaw Valley State by a 6-1 score on Sunday (March 26) in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play in Midland.

The Cardinals fell behind 1-0 early as FSU took two of the three doubles flights, but Saginaw Valley State responded in singles action with victories at all six singles flights.

A total of four of the six singles matches were determined in three sets.

The Bulldogs dropped to 6-8 overall this year with the setback.

Ferris State returns to the court back at home this weekend as FSU hosts Purdue Northwest on Friday (March 31) and Davenport on Saturday (April 1) in Big Rapids.
