Highland Heights, KY - Grand Valley State University led the way with nine players selected to the 2009 Daktronics Division II Midwest Region Women’s Soccer Teams, while Quincy University’s Jenna Boyko was named the Midwest Region Player of the Year.

Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State recorded one goal in the second half and recorded its 13th shutout in a 1-0 win over Bellarmine on Sunday (Nov. 15) afternoon. The No. 3 Lakers advanced to the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship for the fifth consecutive season and will play Friday Nov. 20 against Northern Kentucky.
