BAY CITY, Mich. -- The head men’s basketball coaches of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) chose University of Findlay senior guard Marcus Parker as the league’s preseason “Player of the Year.”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Two teams that came within a point of advancing to the Elite Eight last season head up the NABC/Division II pre-season coaches poll for the 2009-10 season, which gets underway this weekend with the first of the two Disney Tip-Off Classics in Anaheim, Calif.

TIFFIN, OHIO – John Hill has been named Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Tiffin University, taking over for departing coach Rodney Martin. He will also serve as Associate Vice President for Development.
