Findlay Women's Golf Finishes 10th in WGCA Team GPA July 24, 2015 CORAL SPRINGS, Florida -- The University of Findlay women's golf team was honored with the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team GPA Award. The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA which includes all of the team's student-athletes for the 2014-15 season.
GLIAC Boasts 17 WGCA All-America Scholars July 6, 2015 CORAL SPRINGS, Florida -- The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced today with a total of 758 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Saginaw Valley State Announces the Addition of Women's Golf June 23, 2015 UNIVERSITY CENTER - Saginaw Valley State University Director of Athletics Mike Watson has officially announced the addition of women's golf as a varsity sport. The program joins a lineup of 16 current varsity sports that currently compete at the NCAA Division II level in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). There are 12 other members of the GLIAC that currently offer the sport of women's golf. The team expects to begin NCAA Division II competition during the 2016-17 academic year.
