GAME STORY
- The game was tied 9-9 at the 12:44 mark of the opening half when the Cardinals made a run. SVSU scored nine straight points to take an 18-9 lead.
- Northwood got back within nine twice before halftime, but it was the Cardinals who maintained the advantage the rest of the half.
- SVSU led by as many as 14 before taking a 37-25 advantage at the break.
- NU's offense went ice cold in the second half which allowed SVSU to take control of the game.
- The Cardinals out-scored Northwood 40-16 after the break to earn the win.
