GAME STORY
- The opening quarter was evenly played – the teams were within three points of each other over the final 6:27 of the first. NMU held a 17-15 lead after 10 minutes.
- NU's offense struggled in the second and third quarters. The Timberwolves went 5-29 from the floor (17.2 percent) and 2-12 from 3-point range (16.7 percent). That allowed the Wildcats to out-score Northwood 38-14 and take a 55-29 lead heading to the fourth.
- The Wildcats led by as many as 32 in the fourth before the Timberwolves scored the final seven points to make the final 68-43.
