The Tiffin University baseball team finished their Florida trip with a victory on Friday, defeating Wheeling Jesuit University 5-2.

Both sides entered the 4th inning in a 0-0 draw, but the Dragons began the scoring in the top half of the inning. Tiffin plated their first run on Kyle Lento's sacrifice fly to lead 1-0. Wheeling countered with two in their half of the 4th, taking a 2-1 advantage. 

A Ryan Thomas double tied the game a half inning later, scoring Isaac Perry. In the 8th, Tiffin took a one run lead on Alec McCurry's RBI single, scoring Kyle Lento. Two more runs crossed the plate for Tiffin in the 9th, with Kurt Barbeau and Kyle Lento picking up RBI singles to give Tiffin a 5-2 lead.

Kyle Montell started the game for Tiffin, tossing three innings. Luke Fraley was dominant in relief, throwing five shutout innings with six strikeouts. At the plate, Kyle Lento finished 3 for 4 with a pair of RBI's and Alec McCurry, Jay Smith, and Ryan Thomas each finished with two hits.

The Dragons now sit 6-6 overall.
