The Tiffin University men's basketball team had a halftime lead, but were unable to hold it, falling to Kentucky Wesleyan 84-76.

The Dragons fell behind early in the 1st half, trailing 16-9 at the 13:30 mark. Tiffin kept their deficit around eight points, and then Tiffin made their run, using a 7-1 push to trail 20-18. Brandon Wilkins' two free throws with a little over nine minutes left in the 1st half gave Tiffin a 22-21 lead, their first since the 18:04 mark. The Dragons kept the pressure on the Panthers, using an Alex Brown layup and a pair of Austin Adams free throws to lead 26-21. The Dragons continued to lead as the half moved along, taking a 40-36 advantage to the half.

At the break, Juwan Johnson led Tiffin in scoring with 9 points on 2 of 5 shooting from the field. Brandon Wilkins chipped in with eight points and also grabbed four rebounds. Tiffin was bitten by the turnover bug, committing 10 in the 1st half and seven in the 2nd half. 

Out of the half, Kentucky Wesleyan made a 9-3 run to lead 45-43. Tiffin point guard, Tony Kynard, gave the Dragons a 50-47 lead with a three point bucket, but the lead was short lived, as the Panthers used an 8-0 run to lead 55-50. The lead swelled to double digits at 67-57, but Tiffin was able to slowly chip away at their deficit. With 01:28, Kynard's two made free throws pulled Tiffin to within a point at 77-76. That made free throw would be the last point Tiffin would score, as the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers held on to defeat Tiffin 84-76.

As a team, Tiffin shot 43.1% from the field, 60% from beyond the arc, and 85% from the free throw line. For the second game in a row, Tiffin lost the battle of the boards, being out rebounded 42-32.

Tony Kynard once again led Tiffin in scoring, pouring in 16 points. Brandon Wilkins chipped in with 14 points, and he also led Tiffin in rebounding with six. Juwan Johnson netted 13 points and Alex Brown was the last Dragon in double figures, scoring 11 points.
