Tiffin University (12-11) came up just short in a couple matches and it proved the difference, as host Lewis nipped the Dragons 5-4.

TU got a default doubles win from Lauren Prince/Abbie-Jade Riley but still trailed 2-1 heading to singles play. Anais Geslin/Juliette Sirgant could not pull out a razor thin 9-7 match, while Milah Ryland/Adel Musina also fell 8-4.

TU got singles victories from Geslin 6-0, 6-2 while Sirgant also won in a shutout 6-0, 6-0. Ryland also picked up a default victory. But after Musina fell 6-2, 6-1 and Prince lost 6-0, 6-0, Riley could not pull out another tight match, falling in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 10-6.
