The Oilers, who have now won 20 games in a season 14 out of the last 15 years, got off to a slow start by scoring only six points in the first eight minutes of the game. They then picked up the effort on the defensive end, which led to easy buckets, and ended the regular season with a convincing win on the road.

As a team, the Oilers shot 54.7 percent (35-of-64) from the floor and connected on 47.4 percent (9-of-19) of their three point tries. They also held a 41-31 advantage on the boards and out-scored the Warriors by a 44-26 margin in points in the paint. The Oilers defense also forced 14 turnovers, which led to 25 points.

Sophomore guard Martyce Kimbrough led the way with 19 points while senior forward John Staley had 14 points, six rebounds and three steals.

Senior guard Dylan Kaufman hit three triples and finished the game with 11 points while freshman forward Alex White had eight points and nine boards off the bench.

The Warriors, who shot 38.2 percent (21-of-55) from the floor, did not have any player reach double figures. Five players finished the game with six points apiece to lead the way.

The Oilers will return home to host a GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinal game on Tuesday, March 1. The Oilers earned the 3rd-seed in the tournament and will face 6th-seeded Ferris State University. The game is scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. in Croy Gymnasium.
