Women's Tennis Defeats Michigan Tech 6-3

The Northwood University women's tennis team clinched at least a share of the GLIAC Championship Saturday morning (October 20) with a 6-3 win over Michigan Tech.

Northwood can win the title outright tomorrow with a win over Lake Superior State. The Timberwolves are now 13-0 overall and in the GLIAC. Michigan Tech falls to 7-10 overall, 4-10 in the GLIAC.

The Timberwolves earned wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles positions to go up 2-1 heading into singles. NU then won at the bottom four singles positions to earn the win.

The Northwood/Lake Superior State contest will take place Sunday morning (October 21) at 10 a.m.
