The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team earned their first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) win with a 13-12 victory over Wheeling Jesuit University on Friday, April 12 in Tiffin, Ohio.
The Oilers, who improved to 3-10 on the season with a 1-3 record in conference play, received five goals from Olivia Porcaro, three from Mackenzie Barnwell and two from Sarah Lankton.
Emily Dinda picked up her first career win in the net, making ten saves.
The Oilers will be back out on the field again on Sunday to host Urbana University at noon.
