Grand Valley State senior Chris Saikalis was a USTFCCCA All-American during the indoor season for the shot put. Saikalis placed seventh at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala.

The senior from Waterford, Mich. has been named a USTFCCCA All-American four times in his GVSU career, while also being an All-Region honoree over the past three seasons. Saikalis is a Psychology major at Grand Valley State and has a 3.52 GPA.
