PAINESVILLE, OHIO -- As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Lake Erie College volleyball team will host a pair of matches this weekend in an effort to "Dig Pink" with the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The Storm will don pink warm-up tops, shoelaces and other accessories when they host Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foes Lake Superior State University Friday (Oct. 22) at 7 p.m. and Northwood University Saturday (Oct. 23) at 2 p.m.  The matches are part of the GLIAC's "Pink Wave" initiative to wipe out breast cancer.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the matches and will have the opportunity to donate to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  In addition, fans will also have the opportunity to win the same pink warm-up tops worn by the Lake Erie volleyball team by correctly guessing the Storm's total number of digs in each match.
