Findlay Rises to 19th in the Latest NABC/Division II Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -  The University of Findlay men’s basketball team rose four places to No. 19 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II poll, which was released on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

The Oilers won a pair of home games last week, defeating Lake Superior State 80-65 on Thursday and winning 82-51 against Saginaw Valley State on Saturday. The wins extend their home winning streak to 87 games in the regular season and brought their overall home winning streak to 49 games. In the past seven years, the Oilers are 117-2 in Croy Gymnasium.

In the win over Lake Superior State, senior guard Marcus Parker set a new career-high with 29 points.  He tied his career-high with five triples and set a new career-high by going 12-of-14 from the charity stripe.  In the win over Saginaw Valley State, junior guard Nathan Hyde had 21 points and six rebounds while freshman guard Aaron Robinson had a career-high 19 points and six rebounds. Parker has now scored 1,306 career points, ranking 22nd all-time at Findlay.
