Ferris State Remains In Sixth, Ashland Enters At No.19 In Latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll

Bay City, Mich. -- The Ferris State University softball team is listed at No.6 in the latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll. The Bulldogs own a 32-6 record, and received 289 points to land in the sixth spot. Ashland University (34-10) enters at No. 19 in this week's rankings. Wayne State University (34-12) appears at No. 21 in this week's top-25. 

NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll #10 - April 29, 2009 

For a fourth consecutive week, Alabama-Huntsville sits atop the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll. The top three have not changed since last week with North Georgia and Lock Haven at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Fourth-ranked Angelo State and fifth-ranked Valdosta State round out the top five.

The NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Records shown are through games of April 25, 2009. First-place votes are in parentheses.
