She was selected as a D2CCA First Team All-American and an NFCA Second Team All-American, becoming just the second Laker in school history to be named to both All-America teams in the same season. A nursing major with a 3.81 cumulative GPA, Lenza also received CoSIDA Academic First Team All-America honors this year.

The top offensive player in the GLIAC this season, Lenza led the league in conference-only games in seven categories and set a new GLIAC single-season record with 23 doubles. For the year, she hit .456 with 73 hits, 45 runs, five homers, and 31 RBI, in addition to 24 walks and 111 total bases. Lenza owned a .529 on-base percentage and a .694 slugging percentage, ranking her in the conference’s top-10 in nine categories overall. She was the second baseman on the All-GLIAC First Team in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Lenza ranks second in GVSU history with 58 career doubles, third with 88 walks, fifth in on-base percentage (.454) and total bases (364) and tied for fifth in runs scored (158). She is also sixth all-time in Laker history in hits (244) and slugging percentage (.570), seventh in batting average (.382) and ninth in home runs (18), which included three game-winning walk-off homers in 2017. Over her four-year career, Grand Valley State went 138-62, made four NCAA Tournament appearances, captured the 2017 GLIAC regular season title, and won the 2016 Midwest Region championship, while advancing to the NCAA College World Series for the third time in school history.
