Bay City, Mich. -- The Grand Valley State University baseball team is ranked #1 for the third consecutive week in the latest NCBWA Division II Poll. The Lakers (24-3) received ten first-place votes to remain in the top spot. Ashland University (20-8) is listed at #14 this week, an improvement of four positions from last week.
There are four GLIAC baseball teams which appear in this week's Midwest Region Rankings. Grand Valley holds the top spot with its 24-3 record. Ashland sits at no. 2 in the region with a record of 20-8 while Wayne State University (14-10) and Northwood University (12-9) occupy the ninth and tenth positions, respectively.
